Hello everyone, I'm Danielle Jochen here talking about living your true self or also known as authentic self. And how do we know if we're living our authentic self or true self, being our true self? It's a really good question. And the first off is I just acknowledge you for tapping this video or wanting to listen more about what is my authentic self or how do I live out my true self? And I like to say it is a journey to be on your, say a quest, to find your true self, to live it out. And how to do that, right?
It's like, well, how do I do that? Is really the journey within to look inside what matters to me? What do I want? And I can be like the biggest question on looking inward to self, listening to your heart and asking, what do I want? What is true for me? And a lot of times we get those insights, we get those inner knowings and we know them like it's our innate inner wisdom. We already have like our purpose, our path planned out for us. It's just, are we taking the action to follow it? Are we doing the day-to-day moments to live it out?
So it could be example like, okay, it's like I want to go for a walk in the morning, right? Something basic and simple. Go for a walk in the morning. Start to live out your true self, your authentic self, moment by moment, and start simple with a walk in the morning to, oh, there's a class I want to take. It could be a photography class. It could be anything that just like strikes your curiosity of like, I want to do that. It could be an art class. It could be a nature class. It could be. Learning how to fix a car, right?
Or hang out with people that inspire you to also like they're living their authentic self that mirrors what matters also to me. Hang around with people that are also living their authentic self or you're inspired by how they live and how they are being. Be around them because you are really a sum of your environment and a sum of the top five people you hang out the most. So choose wisely. And a lot of times we end up doing things that also don't align to our authentic self or our true self. And what do we do about that?
And there's nothing wrong or bad about that. It's just, okay, yeah, that is not me. A lot of times we do things too to help us understand who we are not, to help us more align to who we are, to live out your authentic self, to live out your truth. So it's just like balance, oh yeah, that's not me, or this is more me. And sometimes the biggest thing is when you can get stuck possibly in living a certain way where, oh my gosh, this is not me anymore. And it can be super hard maybe if you've been living it for X 10, 20, 30 years, right?
To shift. So if S is you, you know, being on the path, the quest, wanting to live out your authentic self, true self, start small. It could be how you even like cook your eggs in the morning to going for a walk. hanging out with people that inspire you because we all are worthy and deserving to live out our true authentic self. So I acknowledge you again for tuning into this video and I hope you get access to something. My name is Danielle and see you soon.
