  1. 0:00Danielle Djokudin talks about relationships and how to spot good ones

The most important relationship is a relationship with you, my friend, yourself, the one you look into the mirror every day. How to spot a good relationship is whether it be a friend, a significant other. Do you feel safe in their presence? Do you have space to really expand and grow?

  2. 4:11Danielle: How are you being heard in your relationships

Danielle: How are you being heard? Are you feeling safe and are you able to grow? Have a blessed rest of your day. Questions? Comments? Let me know.

Hello. My name is Danielle Djokudin, and I am a yoga teacher, creator of yoga. Yoga stands for your own determination. I am a shaman and a life and spiritual coach, and I am here to talk about relationships and how to spot a good one, or where do you feel off in one? And this is a very deep conversation. I'll talk about more later as well. The most important relationship is a relationship with you, my friend, yourself, the one you look into the mirror every day. Now, a really great way to build relationship and to learn from.

About yourself, from yourself, is with other people. And how to spot a good relationship is whether it be a friend, a significant other, it's equally the same. Typically, our significant other, our partner in life, is our biggest mirror and helps us grow, heal the best way possible. Typically, though, it also feels the worst. Okay. And again, like I said, the best relationship is a relationship with yourself. Though when we're in relationship with other people, things to look for is, are you being heard?

Is someone really listening to you? Are they really listening to you? Do they ask another question? Is there space for silence? Do they remember what you say? Are you being heard? And again, number one, that goes back to, are you actually listening to yourself? And are you listening to other people? Are you being heard? Number two is, do you feel safe in their presence? Do you feel at ease? Do you feel comfortable that you can really be yourself, that you can breathe, that you're not thinking or questioning the things that you're saying or doing before you do them?

Do you feel safe? And can you be yourself in that relationship, and can you actually really almost be more authentically yourself that you are surprised by? Wow. When I'm with this person, my authentic self comes out more, and I feel super safe. Number three, do you have space to really expand and grow? Are you able to grow with that person? Because without having that safety, that space to feel secure, growth really doesn't happen. So can you really grow in their space around them? Do they support you to grow?

It's almost like that person is there for you and also letting you go. It's like that phrase, have you ever heard that saying? Is like, if you like a flower, you pick it, but if you love a flower, you just sit back and watch it grow. Are you, are you able to be in a relationship with them and also expand into who you are, not controlled by them, not contained, like smothered or held back? Are you able to grow and expand in the direction you want to grow and expand relationships? My friends really reflecting on them as well.

Again, it starts number one with you, and you learn a lot about you through relationship with other people. Are you being heard? Do you feel safe and are you able to grow and expand in while having that relationship? Or do you feel like it's like I can only be in this relationship and then I can grow and expand and I can go back? Is it integrated or is it separate? All right, questions? Comments? Let me know. My name is Danielle. Just an honor to be here talking about relationships. And number one, how are you being heard?

Are you feeling safe and are you able to grow? Have a blessed rest of your day.
