Good morning, friends. Happy caregiver Thursday. I hope you guys are doing as well as you can be today. I hope, I hope my live stream is working because last week something happened and I don't know, it didn't save, so I'm not even sure it went live. But hopefully I'm on here. So as you guys pop on, let me know. Oh, there's speak wonder. Good morning. Speak wonder. I was just thinking about you. Good morning, Chris Fortman and Audrey. All you guys are coming in. I hope y'all are doing well today.
Happy caregiver Thursday. I have my hug in a mug this morning with my coffee and my pumpkin mug. I'm feeling, I'm feeling like fall today. So the weather is beautiful here in Savannah, Georgia, and it is cool and crisp. My name is Stephanie Irwin. For those of you I have not met yet, I live in Savannah, Georgia. I am a mom of two wonderful neurodivergent children, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. So work wise, I work with children with cancer in their families, in the hospital, as well as in the community.
Yeah. So I just want to check in on you guys, see how everybody's doing today. A couple weeks ago, I did a live on finding your people and today I want to do a live on checking in with your people. My heart goes out to everybody who has been affected by the hurricanes over the last few weeks. And just the devastation and everything that they have gone through really got me thinking about how can we check on our people? How can we make sure everybody has what they need and is doing as okay as possible, and how can we support one another?
So we never know what people are going through. We never know. And sometimes even the strongest people really need the checking in on too, especially us, caregiverse. We all, we all definitely need the checking in from time to time. So we used to live in the Tampa Bay area and we have some friends that had seen some effects from the storm and a couple who have lost their houses due to flooding and trees on their homes. So we just recently have been checking in on some of them and we haven't spoken with them in a while, so it was really nice to just reconnect with them and it.
