Here's your chat GPT poem of the day. It's about January 11. One thing I always like to remember is to go lightly. If you don't know which way to go today, follow the way of kindness.
Hi, folks. How you doing? Nick the poet here today. Thank you for taking a walk with me. Maybe you want to walk around your kitchen, walk around the block. Maybe you want to sit right where you are and just enjoy yourself. Happy 2024. I believe this is my first live stream of 2024. So there's an ancient book that has this great saying in it. It says, it's as if every single blade of grass has an angel leaning over it whispering, grow, grow. That blade of grass will actually break through cement.
Seeking the light we are the same. So what ways are you being asked to grow that you're potentially not fully acknowledging? Where are you being asked to grow? If you're like me, a lot of times, you know, you're like, oh, I don't wanna. I don't wanna. You know, we have that, that small self that's like, I wanna stay just as I am. But, you know, we have that angel, or whatever you want to call it, you know, saying grow, grow. You can do it. Opportunities, challenges. You can do it. Here's your chat GPT poem of the day this poem is from OpenAI.
It's about January 11. It's 111 2024. Those are good numbers. On January's 11th stride. Times quiet dance with hopes beside a new year's promise far and wide. That's pretty good. Sometimes chat GPD comes up with something pretty good. Hey, Luke, how you doing? Good to see you. Just working through some good thoughts that you might want to take into the day with you. So one thing I always like to remember is to go lightly. This quote is from Aldous Huxley. Google it if you want kind of the full quote, but it's just a great reminder to just take it easy, go lightly.
And I was at an Airbnb once, and the person there had these quotes kind of written all over the place, and one of them said, light is heavy, light is true and heavy is false. And I think there's a lot of truth to that. You know, if you're feeling those heavy feelings, you probably in some kind of falsehood, you know? But if you have the light feelings, you're probably living in some kind of truth. So it's just a good gauge, you know, I believe. And so something that can help with that is this meditation that I found from Mark Allen, who's a great author, and he got it from, originally from a book called the Art of True Healing.
And it's called the middle pillar meditation. And you take a deep breath, exhale, relax, right? And imagine that there's a pillar of healing light radiating at the crown of your head. Feel that light move down through your body. Then feel it move back through the crown of your head. You do this repeatedly, just imagining your body as a radiant pillar of healing light. And there's all kinds of different variations you can do. Just keep it simple and focus on that light growing. So those are a couple of thoughts for you today that you can take into your day.
And if you don't know which way to go today, follow the way of kindness. It won't lead you astray. We're in the season of joy, right? We're always in the season of joy. So when in doubt, follow the joy. It may not lead to clout, but that's not necessarily what life is about. Life is mysterious, serious, curious. Rumi says, trade your cleverness for. For bewilderment. Peace is our destiny, whether it comes in 2023. Well, I guess it's 2024 now. Or 30 34 or 40 44. So choose peace now and watch it ripple across the pond.
Sing your own song. And remember that gratitude is the mother of all virtues. I hope you have an absolutely tremendous day. This is nick the poet signing off.
