Good morning, Cadre family. Happy Wednesday. I hope everybody's doing amazing. I am. Need a little more sunshine, though it's still a little bit overcast. I'll give everyone just a moment to get in here and today's. Sorry about this. Always this stand that I have the phone on is always wobbling. Today's thought of the day may be short and sweet, but I think it's a good one. It's something that. Well, let me just tell you what it is, and then I'll tell you what inspired it. The thought of the day is to take note.

So let me explain. It was last week that I got my nails done, which I get them done about every three to four weeks, depending on how fast they wear out and need to be redone. And I've been doing my nails for the past few years. My son, he's 14 now, but since day one, it's the cutest, sweetest thing ever. And this is what inspired this thought. He always notices. So every time I get my nails done, as soon as he notices them that day, at whatever time, he will say the same thing, like, oh, you got your nails done.

Nice. Every time. And last week, I really kind of paid attention to that. Something happened with my screen and I just thought, like, how sweet of him. He's just like this cool teenage boy paying attention to these small things, right? Like my nails being done. I think that is just the sweetest thing. His future wife is going to be a lucky girl because he won't take notice of maybe her hair or what she's wearing or just little things, right. That aren't so little to us. And they just. It just made me feel so special.

Hey, Luke. And so I just got on this thought of, it's really important to take note, not just of the physical things, although those are really important, right. I've always taken note when I see somebody with a new haircut or dress nicely or whatever, I always make an effort to compliment because I just want to make somebody feel good. And I do think genuinely those thoughts that I'm sharing, right. But also just taking note of people, people's birthdays or special occasions, that's another thing.

I mean, I know I have, like, not shut up about my daughter's wedding, so everybody and their mother knew about it. But on the day of her wedding, I had so many people text me, just wishing me a great, beautiful day. And I just was so touched by their thoughtfulness because, you know, I have shared it over the last several months with different people everywhere. But for these people to remember that and to reach out to take that step of actually sending me best wishes and it was just very thoughtful of them.

People at the nail salon followed up a month after like how was your daughter's wedding? And just people following up and asking about it meant so much to me. So I think it's important to take note of what people are sharing with you, what people are experiencing or going through. Maybe somebody's on a new pursuit, a new journey or has an interest or a hobby that they do on the side and you know about it. Asking how it's going, just doing a check in or acknowledging people's, like I said, maybe birthday or special occasions with a gift or a text or a call or whatever it is, however you want to reach out just goes such a far ways in showing your kindness and care but also making somebody really feel special.

Right? And that's it. It's short and sweet. Like I said, taking note of the things around you and following up by acknowledging it in whatever way. It doesn't matter because however you do is going to mean something. It's going to be impactful and it's going to be powerful and that's it guys, that is all I have. I know that was super short, but I think that it's just an important reminder for all of us. So whatever and whoever is around you today, tomorrow, for the rest of the week and weekend, take note, listen, pay attention and acknowledge people.

All right you guys, I appreciate you being here. Hey Carrie, let's see, what are you saying? No one will ever remember exactly. Yep, I've heard that before and it's so true. They will always remember how you make them feel. Alright guys, enjoy your day and I will see you again next time.
