Hey Cadre, good morning. Happy Monday. It is another Monday in this world that you are getting to do. And I hope you know how impactful you're going to be today. Even if you don't feel like it, you're going to walk past people and share some energy and perspective, some heads, some hearts, some hands. And that's going to change the way they operate today. Maybe not in big ways, maybe in big ways. But hey, I'm glad you're here. I'm glad I'm here. I know the things I know and I care about you. One of the things I often talk about here is this idea of boldly following.

In a world that says leaders never follow and that you should always lead and yada yada yada, I think there's some issue with that. If everybody's leading, who are they leading? Because nobody's left. If a person is so focused on leading, they are not incredibly equipped to follow. You may be like, well, why would I want to follow? Because following is a really important skill that accomplishes a lot of things in this world. Leaders don't start movements. First followers do. Derek Seavers. If you're ever talking to an orchestra conductor, the people they hire, are the best followers in the world.

The ones who can watch them go like this and they know what to do and they know how to do it together. You've never heard of an orchestra of leaders. It's an orchestra of followers. You think of your favorite sports teams. You think of your favorite surgical teams. They are all following someone. You think of the flight you've been on. Everybody on that flight is following a plan, someone together. So there are lots of situations where you want to be really good following. My invitation for you today is remember that.

You may be like, gosh, I don't have it in me today. I don't have it in me to stand up and lead today. So I invite you to look and go, whose message, whose work is really making me go, there's my hope for the world. There's the one who I am really going, they got it. Point at them. Reflect what they're saying. Tell other people to listen. It's something you can do today. Boldly follow. I'll see you tomorrow.
