  1. 0:00Welcome and daily check-in

The host opens the stream with friendly greetings, introduces himself, and leads a quick one-to-ten mental and physical check-in. This orients viewers to the tone and the host's state for the session.

  2. 1:11Introducing the pride topic

The host introduces the theme of pride, especially for men, and begins recounting a recent incident where he got stuck in the mud. This chapter sets up the anecdote that illustrates the talk's central point.

  3. 2:22The stuck moment and choice

The host narrates the tense moment of slipping into a ditch, weighing whether to force his way out or accept help, choosing a 'soft landing,' and ultimately being towed out. This shows the emotional pull of ego and the relief of accepting help.

  4. 3:39Reflection and takeaway

The host reflects on how pride drove his actions, asks viewers where they might be 'spinning their tires,' and encourages putting ego aside to accept help from others. The video closes with a concise lesson and a sign-off.

Hey fam, Cadre fam. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. How are we doing today? It is Tuesday, 915. A little cloudy outside, but it's a day. So for those who are new here, my name is Rolando. I go by Ro, Coach Rose, or Rose 612, social media, Coach Ro, all the things. And thanks for joining me today. Got my coffee. Today's the day. So I like to start each day on my streams with a quick check-in. So let's gauge where we're at, one through 10. 10 being it's the best day ever, and one being probably shouldn't have got out of bed, right?

We're having connection problems, so we're going to move around a bit. It's 10 being the best day ever. One being we didn't want to get out of bed, right? Let me sit right here. There we go. Sometimes we got to pivot, right? So today I am at, I'm at about a six, seven mentally, probably at about a five physically, had some back issues, could work on that. But you're the you know there. So one of the things I wanted to talk about today was the issue of pride and getting things done. This is for everyone, but I really want to focus it at the guys, the men, right?

So this past weekend, just yesterday I got stuck in the mud, all right? And I consider myself a good driver, you know, off-roading, four-wheelers, ATVs, everything with a motor. And I don't like to get stuck. I used to intentionally try to get stuck to prove that I wouldn't get stuck, right? Well, the other day, I was, yesterday I was parked on the side of the road and the mud It was really muddy. It was really muddy and I got pulled in to the ditch, right? So I try to gas it, get through it, and it wasn't happening.

And there's people watching, realizing what was happening. The mud was slippier, more slippier, slippery, more slippery than the traction that my cheek could physically handle, right? But in my mind, I'm like, I need to get through this. I want to get through this. I can gas my way out of it, forward reverse, I can do it, all these things. And these people are watching. So this point came to my mind where I was slipping down into the ditch in slow motion. It's like, all right, you're either gonna roll over trying to get this out of here or you can accept defeat and aim for a soft landing.

And it was hard because the people that were watching me too, they've seen this happen before. So I chose to check myself and it was very hard. and I decided to make a soft landing down into the ditch. Did that, it was safe in there, but it was like I accepted defeat, right? That's how I felt. But looking back at it now, I was struggling with pride in the middle of that situation, right? I didn't want to give up, I didn't want to let this thing win. I got four-wheel Dr. I got a Jeep, all these things.

It was just me, my pride from my ego. I was like, I'm not going to get stuck. And there was people that they were watching as well that were trying to tell me that there was one tire hop in the air and I just didn't want to hear it at the time, right? I stopped, checked myself, made a soft landing and the individuals around me, they're like, yeah, there was no way that was coming out. Let's call a tow truck. It's not a big deal. All of these things, right? And then called the tow truck, some random stranger came by, pulled me out and we got back on the road, right?

But It's interesting how a lot of us can deal with pride and ego and get things done and I'm him, I can do it. And I struggle with all these things, but it comes out in situations that I never would have thought it came out in. And in that exact situation, as I'm trying to gas it forward, slightly getting frustrated, that was my pride. I was fighting with it. And I probably couldn't have said it out loud at the time, but that's what it was. And we all struggle with it, right? So I'm sitting there spinning my tires, trying to figure it out and not get it anywhere, right?

And that's what it was. And that's the lesson I learned yesterday. So I wanted to share that with you guys and ask you, where in life are you spinning your tires right now? Where in life are you might be in a situation where you're trying to force the situation because your pride is driving the car? Literally. Oh, I didn't, no pun intended. I didn't even try to do that. because we all get in these situations where we struggle with pride, ego, we can get things done, we got it, but sometimes we just got to stop and allow the other people around us to help us.

And that can be hard. We have to put our ego down the side, especially when we got good people that we can rely on in our lives, but we'll never acknowledge it and see it if we keep throwing that gas and trying to spin the tires even more. That's what I got for you. I'm Ro, Coach Rose. See you guys later.
