  1. 0:01Opening greeting and context

The host opens from their car, offers well wishes, and describes the caring Cadre community. This sets a warm tone and explains why people share experiences here.

  2. 0:57Question about arrival timing

The host asks viewers to reflect on whether they tend to arrive early, exactly on time, or late, and frames the topic as common and relatable. This section sets up the exploration of personal habits and timing.

  3. 2:10Personal early habit and anxiety

The host recounts being the first in a parking lot and explains a personal rule of arriving early, admitting it stems from anxiety and repeated checking. The anecdote illustrates how strengths can also create stress and the importance of self-awareness.

  4. 3:20Understanding others' rhythms

The host reflects on how people who are late can be perceived and emphasizes that knowing your own patterns helps you understand others. The invitation is to be kinder and to make differing habits work together for better group interaction.

  5. 4:30Closing and sign off

A quick wrap-up noting the host will lead an accountability session once others arrive, followed by a brief goodbye. This closes the short video and points toward upcoming action.

Hey Cadre, happy Thursday. Happy Thursday from a parking lot. Per usual, you find me a lot of times in my car, either after something or before something. And when you do, I always hope that you're doing well. And even if you're not, I like say. that you're still incredibly capable, incredibly worthy, and you're probably still going to accomplish some pretty miraculous things today. And hey, I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad you're here. I know the things I know and I care about you. And you could say those same things to me or anybody else that you encounter.

And that's the fabric that weaves this cadre sphere into being. People are risking to care about one another, to share their experience in a way that's meaningful, and then to move into a space of going. So how do we connect? How do we move? So no matter where you are, junk food junkie or speak wonder, we're doing this thing again. So I have a question. Are you a person who is always the first person in the parking lot? So I'll take you around the trip. It's like, look, It's a big empty parking lot.

That one car looks like it's been parked here all night. I'm the first one here. I think I'm leading a session today with 30 people plus a couple other of my colleagues. And I'm the first one in the parking lot. I don't work here and I'm the first one in the parking lot. That's me. I'm always that, if possible, early person. Are you the person really early? Are you the person who walks in right on time? Are you the person who's 5 minutes late, but you feel grounded because 5 minutes late is on time for you?

All those things are good. We all have people in our lives who are very, very good at what they do, and they're either very early, right on time, or sometimes late, or all the time late, consistently late. You know, I have some near and dear colleagues who are the, if it's a 30 minute meeting, they're going to be 10 minutes late and they're going to want the meeting to run another 20 minutes over. And that consistency makes it makes it pretty okay because you know that's the way it's going to be.

But it's really important, and this is a familiar theme with me, to know you, right? Getting to like success is not being stronger, harder, faster, deeper, better. But it's knowing you, knowing how you operate, knowing how you work. Junk Food Junkie says, I've always had a personal rule to always be where I need to be half hour early. So usually I'm first. Yeah. And the cool thing is like that's I'm relatively the same. And it comes out of a place of maybe not a strength of mine. I panic. I panic that I'm going to be the one who all of a sudden, I already sent 3 messages like, wait, is this the right building?

And I check the address and I check again. I send some text messages. Because that's my process. But think about that. That doesn't sound like it's a super healthy thing that I'm always panicking and worrying about where I am and what's going to go wrong. Maybe I should work on that. And I do. People who are always late. Oh, we could perceive them as being always late people and that that's disrespectful and that's... If we know how we operate, it gives us a lens into how other people operate too.

You know, again, junk food junkie, a personal rule to be a half an hour early. That's a high standard to hold that I bet sometimes creates some some stress, but it also gives you some grounding to go. This is how I operate. You know, Speak Wonder says I'm usually on time, but like 2 minutes before I start time. It's like like the word usually I'm usually on time, which means maybe sometimes you're not. And how does that feel? And since the fact that you use the word usually, maybe you're a little bit more kind to yourself.

If you are running behind, then maybe someone who's like, I'm always two minutes early. Knowing yourself is important. My invitation for you today is as you work on knowing yourself and going, I am this, also think about other people because they have some uniqueness just like you have yours. And when you can make those uniquenesses work, then the actual benefit of getting together starts to present. So I'm going to go talk about accountability for the next four hours once someone else shows up.

Talk to you later. Bye.
