Hi Quadri Sphere! Hello! Christy Larson here. I just discovered a couple new leaves on my Monstera. I'll see if I can show you. I was really excited. Can you see that beauty popping up right there? She's gonna be a good one and so pretty. They're so green when those new leaves come out, and I just absolutely love it. Hello, Brianna. I was in here kind of doing a little check up on it and I watered it yesterday and I didn't notice that. So must have just kind of decided to make its appearance here today, which I was really excited about.

I am a massive plant person, so I have lots and lots of plants and this is the time of year where they start to really show their true colors, right? They're coming out of dormancy and starting to. leaf out and bloom and do all sorts of good things. So my cactuses are starting to get taller, all the things that come with with this time of year. It is almost 90 degrees here in Minnesota, so it's a warm day. The sun is shining bright. I actually yesterday was about, I don't know, maybe 85 and we turned our air conditioning on for the first time just simply to get some of that that really muggy warm air out.

but very happy. Love this time of year. Love to see everything's turning, not starting, turning green and blooming and all new things. So really excited to share with you that leaf today. So this week we're actually talking about the distance you can go and I titled my no take backs simply for one reason and one reason only is sometimes we let things go and we bring them back and we shouldn't have. And so I wanted to talk a little bit about that today. And I'm not going to talk all that long simply because my stories are short today.

But I was thinking about this. What do we carry forward? What are some things that we don't want to take back? And that can be different, of course, for all of us. We all have different lived experiences. We all have different perspectives. I was blessed in my previous role to run the admissions process, which was having conversations with over 2000 people in my time there. And I heard stories and I heard thoughts and I heard dreams and I heard hopes and each, you know, experience and each perspective came with different emotions and different feelings.

And it was really interesting to to learn from other people, you know, the things that they have experienced or their perspective that they bring to the table. And I have gotten in my time there had gotten really good at actively listening and being present in each one of those conversations. And it's something I definitely pride myself on right now is the ability to kind of let everything else out and really focus on what is happening in the moment. And that's really hard sometimes. You have to pause with purpose as I've said in previous live streams and really think about where do I want to be at this time?

Where do I need to center myself? and being able to do that, you learn a lot. You learn a lot from other people, you learn a lot from experiences, you learn a lot from maybe things that you're going through, your own emotions, and it gives you an opportunity to think about what are some of the things you want to carry with you. What are some of the stories you want to take with you? And what are some of the things you want to leave behind? The things that you don't want to take back? No take backs is my title.

And there's things that I've dropped. There's things that I've picked back up. There's definitely things that I probably have forgotten that I dropped or never even really thought that they existed because I forgot about them. And that's okay. It can be habits or trends or values or people or You name it, maybe it's a food that you used to love and now you don't love it anymore and so you've dropped it and you don't think about it as often. Or like I talked about last week, values, things that you have learned over your lifetime that are important to you that you're not going to compromise, things that you're going to carry with you.

Or maybe values that you've dropped that you're not going to take back, that you're going to let them lay where they were in that time of your life, right? And let them stay there and not bring them back into where you are to now. doesn't even make sense, but where you are now or where you are today. And so the beauty of it is it's your decision, right? You can choose what you drop. You can choose what you carry. You can choose who you drop or who you carry. You can choose a habit, a trend, a value, whatever it is, it's your decision to make.

And Take a moment and recognize what are the things that you definitely wanna carry with you forward. What are the things that maybe don't matter as much to you anymore and they're taking up too much space and you don't need them anymore. And that can be easy to do and that can be really hard to do, especially if it's something you've carried with you since you can only remember carrying it with you. So that's what I have for you today. I think it's always good. These are always great as a reflection period, not just for me, but hopefully for you as well.

And it allows me to really think about the things that are important. And I appreciate that about the Cadre Sphere. I appreciate being able to listen to other people's experiences and other people's live streams and the perspectives that they bring. And so always tune in for those. If you can't get the live stream, certainly don't hesitate to watch the recording. A lot of times that's what I have to do simply because my schedule only allows that. But I appreciate the perspectives that people bring.

And when you attend a live stream or you're listening to a recording, try to let everything else out and really focus and be actively engaged and present in what you're doing and what you're hearing because you're going to learn a lot. Some of it you want to bring with you and some of it you might not um but you're going to learn something so take care Cadre Sphere it's always good to see you be well and remember no take backs have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday and I will see you next week
