What is up? Cadre Sphere. Hello, hello. Welcome. Come on in. Get settled. Bring your lunch if you're eating lunch. It is Wednesday. It is lunchtime and I just realized hello speak wonder. I just realized what a busy day it is in the Cadre sphere. I saw that there was somebody on just before me and Jean Nichols is coming on after me and so it is a busy day here in the Cadre sphere. We all are doing our thing this Wednesday. So Christy Larson here excited to be here, excited to see you. Um, you're probably looking at my semi dusty.

I just realized it was a little dusty. Probably my leaves need a little cleaning, but my little monstera back there. Um, actually, I should, I shouldn't say little because that thing is, uh, it's taken over my, my extra bedroom here in my office area. So, um, hello Speak Wonder. Good to see you. I wish that I could see you live. I always have to watch your recordings, but I am just in awe of, of the way that you, um, the way that you live stream and the words that you carry. So I appreciate that.

I was thinking today that actually I was thinking this week some just random things happen and sometimes I'm like Wait, title of my of my live stream. Wait, what did that just actually happen? And I'm sure it's happened to you. I think it happens to almost everybody where all of a sudden we're like, wait, what did I just witness that or see that or hear that? Or was that a thing that just happened that I was in the area or just happened to be in that spot for? And so I was thinking about that today or this week and I actually was.

thinking about how present you have to be in a moment to see that, hear that, think about that, witness that, whatever it was, and how it creates a a sense of wonder sometimes of what is that thing that just happened that I just witnessed? I was walking out of the grocery store the other day and someone had dropped something and someone was kind and nice and picked it up and kind of chased them down in the parking lot. And I thought, wait, what did that just happen? That's so cool that somebody noticed that, saw that, picked it up, chased that person down.

And I think it was like a receipt or maybe even a grocery list or a piece of paper of some sort. But it was a really cool experience and it was something where I was there to witness it. I was there to see it. made me feel good, even though none of it had anything to do with me other than witnessing it. And So that got me thinking too about some of the things that I've gotten to experience in my wait what moments just this week actually I was I happened to pop on so here in Minnesota the DNR does an eagle cam and I think I've talked about this before but there's three little chicks in the nest and the mom actually I noticed today was no longer in the nest so the mom must have flown off to go get food or you know go hunt or whatever leaving baby chicks all by themselves today which was something I haven't seen yet so they're getting bigger they're probably about to start flying out of the nest or learning to fly out of the nest and hunt on their own but The other day I turned it on and I just happened to catch one of the baby chicks doing its business over the side of the nest.

And I thought to myself, wait, what did I just happen to turn on the DNR cam at just the right time to catch that thing that was happening? And I did. And it's actually kind of cool, you know, something that you don't get to see all the time, something that you don't get to witness. The other thing that I saw this week that is really fun and a sure sign of spring is there's a lot of birds out in my yard right now just kind of pecking at the ground getting whatever frozen bugs I suppose that have made their way to the surface of the grass and we have some northern starlings that are just so pretty and some robins, of course, all the robins, right?

Sure sign of spring is when the robins come. But I just happened to be sitting outside and noticed a little robin who was hopping along, plucked a worm right out of the ground. And I was like, oh my gosh, I just saw that. You know, wait, what? Did that just happen? And so it really does get me thinking about those moments where those things happen and You may or may not catch it. It may or may not be a, wait, what did that just happen? But when it is, it means that you're present, you're in the moment, you are aware of your surroundings, and you get to experience something that might bring joy, that might bring inspiration, admiration, laughter, sadness.

And it's kind of cool. And sometimes if you get to experience that with another person, it might create a memory that you talk about. I know my husband and I, we have lots of those moments where we look at each other, with a, we just saw that or we just heard that or can you believe that happened? And sometimes we just say, hey, do you remember that time that thing happened or that person said that thing and we just happened to be there? And it creates that moment of like togetherness. But also just a shared experience and something that I think is really important.

I think it's also just a really fun way to think about everybody has those moments throughout the day. Whether it's you, whether it's me, whether it's somebody else, we all have those moments throughout the day where we might catch something or hear something or see something or whatever it might be and we're like, wait, what? Did that just thing, that thing just occurred? And I think it's really cool to take a moment and think about those things because there could be really, really small, right?

And something that you wouldn't necessarily notice if you were in a big hurry or if you had a zillion other things going on that you were trying to balance at one time. And sometimes just stopping and being like, wait, what? I just saw that or that was a really unique bird call or that was a really unique sound or whatever it might be. But that that's what I wanted to share today. I just I've had some of those moments this week and I don't know if it's just because I'm more cognizant of them or if it's just because the busyness of my life this week has slowed down a little bit and I'm not running all over the place doing all the things, but I think it's just a really Interesting way to go about your day is really recognizing those small little things that might happen just once they might not ever happen again They might just happen once and you got to be there to experience it.

So think about those things cadre severe That's that's what I have for you I just was thinking about that this week and that it was a unique experience that I wanted to share with you all so I Will see you next Wednesday. I'm actually going on a little a little long weekend vacay to Sioux Falls, South Dakota which if you've never been, I highly encourage you go. It's a beautiful city and South Dakota is a beautiful state, but I will still be with you next Wednesday. So take care Cadre Sphere. Be well and catch one of those wait what moments today.

Have a great rest of your day. See y'all next week. Bye Speak Wonder.
