Hello Monday. I'm gonna pull in my assistant today. Hey majors. Hi majors. He says hello Cadre family. Always nice to have a major showing. He likes to be here too. My name is Jean Nichols. Here on this Monday, it's windy today. But I like to think about some of those elements in just maybe a little bit different context. You know, that wind is going to stir up energy. So today I might ask you the simple question of what is stirring up within you? As we lead into Monday and we start to really consider what our possibilities are, what do we want to stir up?

Now from an energy perspective, we are in Taurus season, flying into Gemini season. I'm a Gemini. This is why I pay attention to some of these things. But why is that important today? Limited versus limitless. Limited versus limitless. Mindsets, mindsets matter. So what I'm finding right now as I'm entering in this new phase of having a sneeze, my apologies, excuse me, but also finding space where I'm really feeling into my heart space a little bit more. really trying to sit in a space of understanding, of knowing, and trying to identify what is really truly aligned.

Aligned with my work, aligned in my life, what relationships, friendships, So when you think about those things, what are the things that are gonna support you at your core, support you in your heart? What things in your life might force you to pull back a little bit? Now forcing you to pull back, that's strong terminology. And I'm using that intentionally to just create like a reaction. But in my mind, it's what are those experiences? What are those dynamics in our life that make us feel like we need to play a little bit small, limited, right?

We feel like we might be in a container of some sort. And so doing our own journaling or doing our own pause to really start to explore What is it in our lives that we feel truly passionate about? Where do we feel that we are grounded in our purpose? And what around us doesn't support either? And there's no right or wrong answer. It's simply just information, it's simply data. Now here's what's interesting. I work with a lot of different clients. I'm a coach and it's one of the hats that I wear.

And it's interesting because I've had a number of people in the last six to eight months alone say two things to me. First is one, the first one is I don't know what my purpose is. And I think I've lost track of my passions. And that's okay. Because it's information, right? It's data. It's simply information. Because then once you ask the question, once you allow yourself to expand your mindset to even think that way, then you can do something with it if you want to, if you feel called to. So things that I've done with people to help them identify their purpose.

Sometimes I'll ask them what do they love to do in their day? What do people comfort to them for? And really start to explore where they feel physically in their bodies, the most free, joyful, light, where in their minds do they feel the most engaged, and where in their heart do they feel the most connected. Now, if you're in change management world, and maybe it's in other spaces too, there's a concept of head, heart, and hands. It's not something new, but it is something I refer to a lot because that's exactly the it for me.

So when I come across individuals that maybe they've never been asked the question before, what are you passionate about? What do you believe your purpose to be? When people ask me the question, I share that my purpose is to meet people where they're at and help them make forward progress. And sometimes to make forward progress, we need to go backwards. So it's simply about that movement so that people can find more connection with self. More connected we are here, the more we can be connected outside of there.

So tapping into that limitless. The second thing that I've gotten asked a lot is, Jean, why do you feel like you can only pick work that you're passionate about? Like, we all needed to work. Not everybody can be passionate about it. Not every job we do we're passionate about. And they're not wrong. There's no right or wrong, really. There's simply what is the most natural way for you to move? Move into those opportunities, move into that work, and feel a limitless possibility. So for me, if I know I'm grounded in my purpose, I know what my values are, I value communication and connection and collaboration, And if I find myself working with clients where it feels really confined, I feel confined.

And then I don't feel as if I can give my best work to those clients, to those projects, those experiences. So maybe I can't always say yes to only work I feel aligns with my purpose. Maybe there are times I need to take work because I need to pay my bills. Right? But I do find that when I to something for that reason alone, that work is a little less gratifying. My ability to bring my whole self into that space is limited and I feel drained. I feel confined. I feel frustrated. It's not because the work is bad or that I can't do it.

It's because I also know what it's like to work in a place where I am really leaning into my purpose. And so it's just making choices. It's data. But I know that now. I didn't know that several years ago. I know it because I've done the research for myself to figure out when do I feel the best at work? What is the environment? What is the leader? What is the actual work itself? I love solving complex problems. And when those problems are solved and solutions are in place, I am not the best employee or consultant anymore.

I get bored. I'm a constant learner. I am taking classes all the time. I don't even tell people all the classes I take because I think it would probably drive people crazy. But that is important to me. So I don't always have to share it, but they get to experience the best version of me. When I'm working in work, that doesn't feel grounding to me or feels a little limited, then outside of work I might be taking extra classes or doing other activities so that I can find balance in my day, in my weeks, where maybe the one activity I'm doing that brings income in that moment isn't the most gratifying, but outside of it I can find that same purpose or attachment to something greater than just myself, right?

So limited and limited. So finding your purpose, identifying work that you're passionate about. Even if you can't make a total change today, that's okay. You can explore your possibilities today. You can explore and do your research on the past. What managers supported you best? What work did you feel the most engaged with that was the most important? I still talk about it today. When I was working in corporate finance over 20 years ago, working on projects where I was building and designing business models that help people think differently about their work I still get goosebumps when I think about it because I got to be a part of a change, change people's minds, change people's perspectives in a way that was more collaborative and connected.

And it's not about one person's way of thinking being better or more right than someone else's. It's about being able to be more expansive. and seeing things in a different light. It's like when you travel out of the country or go on a vacation and you meet people in a different community than the one that you're in every single day. Our minds expand, our hearts expand. So for me, on this Monday, limited and limitless, for me connect into Passion and purpose. When I feel like I'm unable to do work that I'm passionate about, solve problems that have meaningful solutions for me, that feels limited to me.

So when I'm doing those activities and I know that I have a greater capacity to create more connections, to help more people. My tendency is to lean into those spaces more that feel more limitless, more possibilities oriented. So I'm going to let that sit with you today. Hello Speak Wonder. I'm not showing you joined, but just in case you're just getting here now, I've got a little friend for you. My supervisor is slacking on the job. I hope you all have a beautiful day today. Thank you for joining me and it's really great to see you here.

There's never late, you're just exactly on time. Plus you got a major setting. So I appreciate you, thank you for jumping in. And if you are willing, I would love to hear What is creating more expansion in your life? Feel free to type it in the chat. I'll come back later and check it out. And I look forward to seeing you again soon. Thanks Speak Wonder for joining. Love you lots. Have the best day. We'll see you soon.
