Today I have this idea of kindness over grindness. Life is the kind path, not the grind path. What if we live within the ambiguous? Maybe grind has to be part of your vocabulary in a way outside your coffee.

Hey there, Cadre. How are we doing on this Friday? Gosh, these are the hardest weeks of the year to remember what day of the week it is, but we are almost through them. Not with a huh, but we're almost to a place where remembering what day of the week it is is a little bit easier. But hey, my name is JC Everybody. If we've never shared time and space together before, I thank you for the opportunity to spend some time with you right now, right here in the Cadre sphere. It truly is a gift to spend time with you each and every day.

Normally, I bop in first thing in the morning for Cadre Today to kick off your day, but the last couple of days are those couple of days a year that I move my parents either down to Florida or back up to Minnesota. So I just got down to kissimmee, Florida about 13 minutes ago. And by golly, Cadre today is 5:15pm Eastern Standard Time today rather than 7:30am Central Standard Time. Rachel, Emily, how are y' all doing on this day? I'm glad that I'm here. I'm glad that you're here. I know the things that I know, and I also know the things that I don't know.

And by golly, there are also a lot of things I don't know that I don't know. Which is why I jump in here to the Cadre sphere to join other people in sharing lots of resources, to knit together a community, to show the world that there are so many ways to be. Well, 60 stations are called on Sirius XM and then 70s on 7, 80s on 8, 90's on 9, thousands on the 10, and then whatever the tens is on 11. I listen to serious six on Broadway. I throw on some podcasts. I just keep things moving. But by golly, it's nice to know that as you roll through Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, florid Florida, that there's always enough voices either in your head or coming at you from something like Cadre or the radio or satellite radio to keep you company.

You know, there's a lot of thoughts that I've had that continue to come back and be thoughts again. And I'm sharing them all month long right here in the community feed as well as here in the live stre. Today I have this idea of kindness over grindness. How often do we hear let's grind, baby, let's, let's go. And sometimes that works, but also sometimes the absolute opposite is what's needed. The let's kind, baby, the hey, let's, let's not, let's not, let's not. Sometimes that's exactly what allows you to get to the next place.

As I often love saying, right? In a culture where stronger, harder, faster, cheaper, go, go, go is the normal, the rebellious kind of badassery way of living, life is the kind path, not the grind path. The grind path is. The grind path is. Is expected. The grind path is the automated, the hey, what if we, what if we do something else? What if we consider what is possible? What if we live within the ambiguous? I've been studying the word ambiguous a lot. It's also something I listen to. I listen to a book on ambiguity on the way down, and I don't rem what the Latin.

There's two Latin words that come together to make our English word of ambiguity. But in essence, it's the holding of or the embracing of difference and going like, hey, here are many things that can be true. As we look at how those things come together, it's really fun to see the potentials that present in ambiguity. And that's Right. Right. Some people are very much like, I'm all grind or I'm all kind. And I'm, yeah, actually I'm always see even right there. I, I tend to not even want to say I'm always in the middle because I'm sure there's sometimes when I.

I'm the center of the binary. But yeah, you may be an always grind or always kind, and the invitation today is to consider which one you're not. So, Rachel, maybe grind has to be part of your vocabulary in a way outside your coffee. Maybe not. But even the consideration is kindness. But if you're one of those people where grind is the norm, what would happen if you considered something else? Maybe nothing would change, but maybe something would. And even if nothing changes, you slowing things down for a moment.

Victor Frankl, One of my three favorite quotes that I quote all the time. The space between something happening to you and you reacting to it. That is where your power is. By simply going, huh? Is there a different way than grinding right now? You taking that moment is going to give you more power. So no matter where you are, Rachel. Yes. For me, it's more not liking the hustle. Exactly right. There's something in the soul that goes, nah. If all of a sudden you find your. In the space of going, I'm hustling.

Not because culture is, is, is hustling me, but because my insides are saying, let's do the hustle. That's pretty amazing. That's what we're looking for here, to allow everybody to do the things that they do. All right, everybody, have a good one. I will see you tomorrow, Sa.
