Craig thielen with the 1% better mindset. Our theme here at Cadre is rest, renewal and preparing for the new cycle. This week I want to talk about how we think about New Year's resolutions. Using mindset can help you accomplish any of your goals in life.

Good morning, Cadre. It's Monday. I'm Craig thielen with the 1% better mindset. I'm excited to talk to you today. We're entering this amazing time of year, the end of the year. Our theme here at Cadre is rest, renewal and preparing for the new cycle. Which is a fancy way for saying we're getting ready for the new year and it's a great time of year. Last week I talked about preparing for that and this idea of less is more, how we can sort of clear the clutter in our mind and our life physically, mentally, emotionally and some ways to think about doing that.

So hopefully you took the challenge and you're well on your way to the three week challenge. This week I want to talk about. Welcome junk food junkie. Nice to see you today. This week I want to talk about how we think about New Year's resolutions, which is a very interesting and popular topic. So I did a quick GPT search and looked up the research and there's some techniques on how you do this work where you train your brain to make it a positive exercise. So when you do it, you do it while you're playing some fun video game, maybe Seduke or some other fun video game.

And there's some other breathing exercises and mental exercises. So you look forward to it, you want to do it okay. But you're going to do this every day and you're going to do a little bit more every day. And what it does is completely rewires your brain. It teaches you how to deal with stress, it teaches you how to deal with physical pain, it teaches you how to wire your brain to break through this. And if you can do this, then you can really break through any change. And it's, it's a pretty nice easy way to get started with this whole idea of how to rewire your brain.

And it really does. It's proven to help drive the ability to change, to build mental toughness and to work through emotions, which in many cases is the limiting factor. So there is a great YouTube video that walks through this and the gentleman actually demonstrates it. It's quite impressive. He does 14 minutes while he's taping the YouTube. Pretty incredible. It's the name of the YouTube. Any can be mentally tough. It's easy. So that's what you would type in search for. Just so you know, you call.

Or fed studies the, the YouTube channel. The and it's really great. I think what's amazing about it, if you can do this to whatever extent you do you can experience the physical pain, the emotional challenge. You will feel that you can do other things, you can change other things because you will be using these same techniques. So hopefully that helps. Hopefully if you try this for a period of time, this will help you accomplish any of your New Year's resolutions and any of your goals in life. I'm going to try it.

I'm going to start today and see how it works. Hopefully that. Helpful for you all. Again, my name is Craig and this is the 1% better channel with the idea that by using mindset you can change anything. Have a great week and happy New Year.
