Hello. Hello. I am checking to see if this works. It doesn't look like it is, but I'm waiting for some people to join and see if you can hear me and see me. It's. This is Craig Thielen with 1% better. And today's theme is finding things that give you energy. I don't know if you've thought about it much, but it's something that I think is really powerful and it gives us a lot of clues. Hello, Speak Wonder. Great to see you. Yeah. So the idea is what gives you energy? Of course, we all have our favorite pastimes and things that we enjoy.
For me, one of the things that really gives me a lot of energy is traveling. It just feels like it allows me to just absorb and learn and understand other people and cultures. And I just. I always find so much learning and reflection. And so I'm actually traveling right now. I am in Vienna, Austria, in a little market called Nash Market. It's a very hopping, lively, full of energy. Speaking of energy place. People from all over the world, mostly Europeans it looks like, but just a vibing place. So it just made me think, you know, what are the other things?
We all have things that. Hello, Speak Wonder. We all have things and it doesn't always have to be the fun activities that we do in life. It can be a very simple things. It could be going for a walk, it could be having some private time, reading a book. It could be my sister, she loves to clean and so she just finds a tremendous amount of joy and energy in cleaning her house and cleaning things, which is great. So it just made me think, well, what are those things in life and why do they give you energy?
And to really understand that. And I think you can build your life around some of those routines, some of the tasks. It can give you a lot of clues about yourself and give you clues about maybe what things in life work wise professionally. If you find that things are draining you, maybe that's a clue that it's not for you, or there's something that maybe you can do differently. Yes. The Sound of Music. Speak Wonder. This is the Mecca of opera, then the Mecca of music and Mozart. This city really does have great energy.
It's just a beautiful city. We just got here. So one of the things I always want to ask you when we start these sessions is what did you do in the last week that made you better in some way? And what are you planning to do in this upcoming week that can make you a little bit better? Just could be a small thing. Could be a first step, could be a new idea, a new passion, a new pursuit. Something that just gets you a little bit closer to your happiness and your true self. So yeah, that's what I wanted to talk about.
We are halfway into a week long trip going through five countries and every single day is just a new day and so much to see and learn. Meeting people I think is the funnest thing and getting to understand the local environment and the food and the culture and the customs and history. There's so much history. So I hope that you're all doing great. Please again, if you're live or if you are joining sometime later, post what you're doing to get better, what improvements that you're doing in the past week or in the upcoming week.
We're going to continue to explore and I'm sure getting lots of learnings and energy and excitement. So that's the idea for today. Thank you so much for joining and here's to getting 1% better every day.
