  2. 0:33Number one is reaping what you water. Number two is letting go for growth

Reaping what you water means consistency over perfection. Letting go for growth means letting go of anything that's been holding you back. Gratitude is another catapult for growth, for your growth.

  3. 4:32Speaking about gratitude in this growth journey of being a Cadre contributor

Speaking about gratitude in this growth journey of being a Cadre contributor. Sometimes you're not gonna make a live. And you gotta let your team know. It's always about coming back. You always want to be consistent.

  4. 5:05October is the harvest month for gratitude. Being grateful for where we're at

October is the harvest quarter. The theme of October is reaping what you water. Letting go of emotional burdens. Being grateful for where we're at. And being grateful for all the setbacks, obstacles, adversity, and turbulence. This too shall pass.

And we're live cadres here. This is your host, Alex of the Mindset podcast, My Mindset YouTube channel Ind. My TikTok channel Mindset. And tonight, 6:30pm Pacific for Wealth Wisdom Wednesdays. And we're talking about the three lessons from this year or the three harvest lessons from this year that I've, that I've gleaned some wisdom from. Mel Myers. Welcome to Live. Thanks for tuning in. Let's start off with talking about number one. Number one is like reaping what you water. Number one is reaping what you water.

Because we're in that fall theme. We're talking about the harvest theme. And when I say reaping what you water, that means consistency over perfection. Let me explain. So a lot of times when I was younger, I would tackle a project or, or like, because I'm an athlete, I'm a former athlete, so I always think of things in like, athlete terms, kind of a thing or, or a group project in school, in college, I would always be like, oh, I need to do a thousand percent or zero percent kind of thing, right?

My intensity. Intensity really, really matters. Well, intensity does matter to a point, but what actually matters more is consistency. Consistency over perfection. So reaping what you water is staying consistent despite imperfection over the long haul. So that's lesson number one for three lessons of the harvest for this point in the season that we're in. We're in the fall, right? Or in October, the harvest season. Speak Wonder. Welcome to live. Thanks for tuning in. Number two is letting go. Letting go for growth.

Anything. Good evening. Speak Wonder. Thanks for tuning in. So anything that's been holding you back or any emotional burdens, mentally or physically, even that you've been holding on to, that's been a, that's been a burden for you, learning to let go of that. So that's number two. Letting go for growth, right? Things can't grow if the roots in the soil are holding on to pests, to. Right? Pests could be negativity, right? Or vermin could be negativity going on in your life, right? That you haven't found a way to minimize.

Because you can't necessarily eliminate vermin or pests. You can minimize them, you can alleviate them, right? By fertilizing the soil better, by cultivating the soil better, watering the soil maybe a little bit more, more frequently. Right? Frequency over intensity, right? Always matters more. There's lots of things you can do, but that's one of the biggest things, is letting go. Because when we hang on to things. They make things a lot more challenging. And then number three. So we talked about letting go as number two, and then we talked about reaping.

Reaping what you water. Right. Consistency over perfection. And then number three. Number three was gratitude for growth. Right? Gratitude. Super important on our growth journey, whatever season we're in. Right? Right. We were previously in the summer season and you were. You're enjoying the fruits of your labor in the spring and summer and now in the fall. Right. We're harvesting. We're harvesting in the fall. So gratitude is another catapult for growth, for your growth. Because what we want to do is we want to grow, but we want to reflect and have introspection about our growth journey.

Right. Gratitudes again. Being thankful for where we're at. Being thankful for what we have. Being thankful for those around us that may. Those that have touched us, that have had an impact on us. Maybe we had a mentor that. That's really resonated with us. That's like. Like I like for myself, I want to thank. Speaking about gratitude in this growth journey of being a Cadre contributor that, like, there's been a few times where, right. I had stuff going on. I had to miss a. I had to miss a live.

I let my. I let you guys know. And the team's been. The team's amazing Cadre that way. Right. Sometimes you're not gonna make a live. Right. And you gotta let your team know. You gotta let your. The cadres fear. No. And. But it's. It's always about coming back, right? You always come back. You always want to be consistent, show up for your audience, show up for the. The Cadre sphere, the other fellow Cadre contributors. So I want to say what I'm thankful for for this point in my season of harvest for the month of October.

I'm grateful for continuing to push ahead despite any obstacles, setbacks that I've encountered that have happened in the last quarter. Like I had a really bad bout of food poisoning. I had to miss a few lives for that. I had family stuff going on. I had to miss a few lives for that. Wanted to thank the whole team at Cadre. Nikki, Shannon, Luke, Ana, and all the contributors that I interact with. Speak, wonder, Dr. Charisse, Rick Cram, Jason Lennox. I'm trying to think. Brittany Hagen. There's so many.

Ms. Shannon Paul, again, I don't. I know I'm missing some. But thanking all the. I think it's Carrie Pickering was one of them because there's going to be a joint. Yeah. Food poisoning is brutal. Yeah. So anytime you have these setbacks, be thankful for being able to combat them. Be thankful for. For the setbacks in a way, because that's gonna. It's gonna help catapult you for. To your next stage of growth. They're only placed there temporarily because the universe knows that you can handle the setbacks.

The universe knows that you can overcome challenges, adversity, and turbulence. Right. My dad always said, and it's such an amazing life lesson that I want to leave you guys with. Everything is temporary in life except death and taxes. Except death and taxes. Those are finite. Those are. Those are gonna happen no matter what. But they're not. Those things are inevitable. Right. But everything else is temporary. This too shall pass. And I saw a podcast clip of Tom Hanks talking on Jay Shetty's podcast, and he's like, this too shall pass.

Things are going great right now. This too shall pass. Things are not going so great right now. This too shall pass. So I want to leave you guys all with that. And I do have it in the description of this live. It will be in there. Those three lessons for this month of October, for this live, for wealth, wisdom, Wednesdays have the Harvest Month or the heart. We're in the harvest quarter, right? For this. For this. This theme of October is reaping what you water consistency over perfection. Letting go of emotional burdens.

Right. That are hindering our progression. Right? We might be growing, but if we're holding on to too much emotional baggage, we're hanging on to too much things that are bothering us, things that are making us tense. Right? In my books, with Dr. Joe Dispenza that he. That I've read, we. We cannot be a creator of our own life and our destiny when we're hanging on to stuff that we need to let go. Learning to let go is. Is just as important as our growth journey, as growing towards what we're looking to grow towards.

And then finally, gratitude for growth. Being grateful for where we're at. Being grateful for where we want to go, and being grateful for all the setbacks, obstacles, adversity, and turbulence that we've encountered and that we've overcome because there's going to be more of it, but knowing that we can handle it, we can navigate it, we're emotionally mature, we're emotionally strong, and we're continuing to build emotional resilience. And like Rick Cram says, he's. He's your resiliency coach, right?

Navigating pain, navigating adversity. These are all skills that everyone needs to learn because they don't go away. We learn to navigate them and handle them better, which in turn makes us better abled, better bodied, better mentally for whatever life throws our way. So thank you for turning to this live. If you like this kind of content. If you feel motivated from this live, I also post daily shorts, especially on the fitness side of things on my YouTube channel at mind dash seb, on my TikTok channel at mine dop.

Thank you all for tuning in and thank you for being part of my audience tuning into my lives this Sunday coming up. Yep. Speak Wonder. Welcome. Yeah. And loving, loving, loving. Fall, loving. Talking about fall. Fall to me is like the growth quarter. I've got two more courses for personal training. I finished the first course and I'm super stoked because lifelong goal becoming a certified personal trainer online and being a full time content creator. I've put that into the universe. I've, I've written that out a million different times and putting the work towards it and it's gonna happen.

I totally see myself as more of a, more of a coach like an advisor rather than the current role that I'm in in my work. Looking forward to transitioning to that over the long haul. So thank you all for tuning into my content. Grateful to be able to share my experience with y'. All and stay tuned for this upcoming Sunday Sunday Spark Sessions CIA.
