Good morning, cadre. First time in a little while that we didn't have that we don't have pure sun here on this Wednesday morning at 830. And that's okay. I'm feeling sunny inside though, because I just got back from the most incredible weekend centered around community. And it just filled my cup like you wouldn't believe. So it also made me very tired, which you can see right now. But the weekend, it's, I'm not speechless, but I'm just trying to find the words at how impactful it was for me and then relate it to what I'm trying to do with my brands that I'm about to launch this week.

that is also centered around community. And because community is healing and it is so needed. And that's why I love being part of Cadre here. It's this virtual community where we get to connect, share stories, make it a little bit easier for people to be part of community. But one of my specialties is the physical act of building community. And this past weekend was the third time that we went to this mini festival that we were so lucky to be a part of and I've kind of made some inclinations that life has been tough for us as my for Melissa and I my wife as we've navigated this very large change in our life, this transition from the identity that served us about 10 years ago, but no longer serves us now.

So, as I mentioned, Melissa was having some tough days and she didn't even know if she wanted to go. And because of that, I didn't know if I wanted to go because I didn't want to not be there with her. Not that I couldn't go and enjoy myself without her, but it's just not the same because we entered this festival together a couple years ago and I wanted us to do that again. So it was, leading up to it, we didn't know for sure what was going to happen, but we have wonderful friends around here that encouraged us to go, encouraged Melissa to go.

And the end result is feeling so loved and supported. And it's just the best medicine towards navigating tough times in life. community. That's what it that's what it can do. And, you know, just the the act of being around each other, sharing other sharing our passions. You know, I did a resistance flexibility workshop where I got to show people how I like I heal and we got to talk about that and what that means and how that modality was introduced into my life and how it has become so important and the fact that it does support building community because of the assisted stretching nature of it.

So I got to share a big passion of mine and do a trial run for people who are just next level individuals. So it was great for me to, yeah, thanks Davis. It was great for me to get that little test run in because in just a few weeks I'm going to be hosting events in Minneapolis at Thomas Beach for a fall series of wellness sessions centered around sauna and cold plunge mainly community and this this this past weekend was just that final little little boost of this is what you're meant to do kind of thing so I'm just over the moon with what I have on the horizon, but also what I just experienced this past weekend.

So, as we get into the colder months of the season, when it might be a little bit more difficult to engage in that physical community, I want to challenge all of you to seek something out. Seek out the opportunity to engage with others, not just digitally but physically. And that's something that I'm here for. And I want to be a space where we can unite all the cadre individuals, the contributors, just the participants, all of that. So I guess what I'm trying to really say here is just that community is incredibly healing.

And if you are in a place where you are struggling, yes, I will be at the open house next week, Davis. I'm really looking forward to that. So I encourage anyone and everyone to try to be at the Cadre open house next week. My wife Melissa and I will both be there. So I think it comes at a perfect time. because we are coming out of that summer-ish season into the fall. We've got about a month before daylight savings hits where it gets a little darker and a little more intimidating to go outside and do something.

So let's latch on to each other's bright light and encounter the darkness that's going to be coming upon us in the form of intentional human gatherings. So That's something I'm really excited about. And if you're talking yourself out of it or if you're not sure, if you're just, there's something in you that's trying to hold you back, don't listen to that right now. And come to me and talk to me about it at the CADRE Open House or talk to me about it at one of my events that I'm going to be hosting beginning October 24th.

I'll put more information out about that once it's officially released but it's something I definitely want to be sharing. I'm also participating in another thing this weekend called Banya Fest and if you were to search Banya Fest on the internet or I think I have a link on my Instagram it's a sauna event that's gonna be held I think it's in Savage or Prior Lake but they're they're neighboring cities so you know they're gonna be next to each other but it's hosted by this by Dan the Banya man and he is a beautiful soul who has a really cool property where there's gonna be a ton of saunas and we're gonna be embracing the art of Banya and Banya is a low temperature sauna that is where the heat is manipulated by steam and different types of steam.

So it's a way to kind of sit in the sauna a little bit longer than you normally would because of the low temp and just get feel all the feels. So and it's very very affordable for what you get. I only think it's like 50 bucks and you get fed. You get to do little workshops. You get to go in all these different saunas. My sauna is going to be there and there's going to be some music. So it'll be a wonderful example of community. So it's going to be my goal to continue to share all these in-person community options because that's my bread and butter.

That's just something for this weekend. And if you can't make this weekend, then we'll see you at the Cadre Open House next week. And then if you want more community, that's where you can engage in my sessions by Ledwell. Because Ledwell is the brand that I'm going to be announcing this week. I'm super excited about it. I should mention, you know, because even though there's excitement with it, there also comes stress. I was anticipating releasing my brand earlier in September. And just like the nature of building something, it usually takes a little bit longer when you're trying to do it right.

So I wish it was already out now, but I don't wanna let myself get down or frustrated with that. But I'm gonna be launching, I was hoping for today, maybe it's tomorrow, but it'll definitely be for the weekend. And there'll be a lot of good content and again, a lot of great opportunities for human connection through community. So that's where I'm going to leave you at with today. Cadre open house next week. Let's go. Maybe Banya Fest for you this weekend. Otherwise, yeah, you can count on me to create space, hold space, and facilitate all the great things about community that there are.

So hope you are enjoying this, what's going to be kind of a warmish, cloudyish, foggyish day. And we will see you all very soon. So take care, cadre.
