I hope you had a great day. What was something you did today to cope with something hard in your life? And for anyone else that's joined, my dog Gilbert is crying still, but also that you are seen and valid and valued. I'm looking forward to these lives at night now.

Cadre. Happy Thursday night. Welcome to Cadre Today evening edition. I am Shannon. For those of you who I haven't met, I am part of the Cadre team. I am a person who lives with anxiety. I live with anxiety. I live with cptsd, and I have a child who is on the autism spectrum. And so I am a person who is a good caregiver. So I do a lot of things, probably like many of you. So I am here tonight to say hello and wrap up the night with you. If you guys are part of Cadre or if you've been here before, I'm sure that you have seen lovely JC in the morning for Cadre today.

And this is Cadre at night. And what that means is also we look at it as coping and active recovery, adaptive recovery. So how are you getting through something? So my question for you today is, did you have to cope with something today? My dog, Gilbert, you guys, is here. He is. He's really begging for some food. As you can see. He loves to be part of these live streams. Did you have to cope with something today? So I will tell you mine, and this is a way that I had to be resilient today. I kind of had a headache all day.

It's very cold here in Minneapolis. I think it's like, negative 10 now, and it's supposed to get down to negative 40. So I kind of. I had a headache, and that just makes me feel stressed out. And it kind of. It kind of takes my day to a different level. Right? Like, you guys get that if you have a day where you might have something that doesn't feel awesome, and I push through my day, and one of the things I do to cope is I exercise. That is a way that I know I can start to feel better. And tonight I really was like, should I just lay on the couch?

I could totally lay on the couch, be warm in this freezing weather, or I could build my resilience by intentionally going to the gym. And so I chose tonight to cope with my headache by going to the gym and doing my workout. And I will tell you, it started out not awesome. My coach in my class said, you know, Shannon, how's it going? And I said, you know, it's either going to be an awesome workout or it's going to be horrible. I don't know which yet. And she's like, all right, well, it's true for awesome.

And I said, let's see what happens, you know? And it was awesome. By the end of the class, my headache was gone. Doesn't always happen that way. Right. But for me, this was me leaning into coping, leaning into saying, like, all right, this thing is happening and it sucks. And also, I'm going to lean into a way to recover from it. And so I can see that we're having some tech issues, as always, you guys. And I'm sorry, we are working on it. But I just want to ask you, as if you're unable to be here, live with me tonight.

What was something you did today to cope with something hard in your life? You know, what happened today that was hard? Were you able to cope with it today? Or maybe you weren't. And that's cool, too. Some days you can't cope. Some days you just need to rest. Some days you just need to be like, hey, today's A1, and I'm going to roll with a. And that's absolutely great, too. And some days you can take a one and make it an eight, and that's sort of that resilient piece we're talking about. So I hope you had a great day.

I hope you had a day. Speak Wonder. That wasn't a one for you in particular, Junk food Junkie. I hope that you had a great day as well. And for anyone else that's joined, I just want you to know that my dog Gilbert is crying still, but also that you are seen and valid and valued. And so as we go through our days here in the country, Sphere Gilbert. No, you guys, this is horrible dog behavior. I'm gonna just give my dog this food, and that's okay. I'm not gonna feel bad about it. Today was more than Speak Wonder.

I'm so happy. Thank. I'm so happy. I love it. I love it. I love it. What a win. Thank goodness. That just makes me happy. So I just want you to know, you guys, we are going to be here for you. And I. I'm actually, like, looking forward to these lives at night now. It's such a nice way to just connect with you guys and so. Speak Wonder. Six plus. That's. That's amazing. Six plus is a good number. That's great. Well, I hope everyone else had great days, too, and I'm glad to be here with you, and I'm gonna see you again tomorrow.

So JC is here in the morning, I believe Luke's doing middays, and I've got nights, and we're just gonna keep bringing you the Cadres Fair. So you guys have a great night. I hope you sleep well, and we'll see you soon again. Here at Cadre. Good night. Speak, wonder. Good night, junk food junkie. Good night. Anyone else that's out there in Cadre.
