Hi, folks, how you doing? Nick the poet. Thank you so much for taking a walk with me today. Maybe you want to walk around your kitchen, walk around the block, maybe do some jumping jacks. Maybe you want to sit right where you are. Either way, I'm so appreciative for you taking the time today to be here with me. And I've got a little bit of a different one for you today. I don't talk a lot about business or work, but that is the theme of today's livestream. So this is how to have fun at work and win with the themes of creativity, business and communication.

So I have eleven different ideas. Number one is pitch perfect. In business, your pitch doesn't have to hit a high note. It just needs to resonate with the right audience. So whether that audience is your coworkers or it's a marketing ad or, or whatever it may be, it may be a one on one meeting with your boss, we gotta find that right note, that right pitch, and we don't need to overdo it. I tend to maybe overdo it a little bit, oversell it. We just need to find that right kind of level. Hey, junk food junkie, thanks for hopping on talking some business and work today and some different ideas for you to practice.

So number two is emojie Express. Next time you send a business email, toss in an emoji. It's the corporate equivalent of adding a fun tie to a suit. Throw that emoji in. Next time you might surprise someone, you might get a different response. Just kind of shake it up a little bit. Number three is elevator pitch. So if you can't explain your business idea during an elevator ride, you probably have to go back to the drawing abortion. Thanks, Alec. That said, emoji in. So if you can't get that elevator pitch done within an elevator ride, you either need to go back to the drawing board or find a longer elevator that maybe goes several floors more.

So either way, you know, keep refining that pitch. Number four is talk the walk. The best communicators don't just talk the talk, they mean the theme. Be relatable, be you. I know if I'm in more of a corporate style meeting, I tend to get a little tenser and a little stuffier and that doesn't necessarily work. You need to be you and still be professional at the same time. Number five is color profit. Red is to profit what blue is to trust. Dive deep into color psychology and branding. It's really interesting.

Here's a hint. Have you ever wondered why Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are all blue. All have blue branding. Look into color psychology. It's very interesting. Luke, thanks for joining. I'm going a little bit different than my me typical weekly take a walk with nick, talking some business today and just putting some different ideas out there and that people can practice. So number six is Morse code marketing. Remember, it's not always about speaking louder, but rather speaking clearer. Okay? Sometimes a few dots and dashes or a well placed Facebook ads campaign can say it all.

Number seven is the feedback loop. Feedback and communication is like the echo in a mountain range. What you send out, you get back. So make sure you're sending out good vibes, whether it's in that one on one meeting with your boss, or that marketing campaign, or the group Zoom presentation that you're doing for work. Whatever it is, send out those vibes and you will get them back. Number eight is the listening lounge. In the world of communication, listening is the vip lounge. Yes, exactly. Exactly.

And so this is a tough one. It's much easier to talk than listen, and it's easier to even pretend to listen. But sometimes it's very difficult to actually really be present and listen. I think it's something we can all practice. And number nine is to story sell, not hard sell. So everyone is a storyteller. And the trick in business is to weave your product into that epic tail or weave your goal into that epic tail. Number ten is brains. Wi Fi. Creativity is the brain's Wi Fi. The signal strength may vary, but it's always there, connecting ideas.

So whether you're on that Verizon 5G network or you're on Wi Fi or whatever your. Whatever it is, you know that creativity is always there, waiting for us to tap into it. And for me, taking a walk can really help tap into that creativity. So number eleven for you, is golden. Silence. In communication, silence can be golden. It gives others the space to think, rest, and then. Or to think and to offer their own gems. So that's what I have for you today. I did want to close with a poem. I wrote this sometime last year, and it seems pertinent.

It says, peace is our destiny. I tell my mind when it goes on the grind, find rest with me, says the universe. There's no need to cower. The bee finds honey. The businessman finds money. We will all find peace, whether in 2023 or 30 33 or 40 44, because it is our destiny. I hope you have an awesome day wishing you a lot of peace, positivity, prosperity, and just remembering that no matter what? We are walking this road together. Have an awesome day. Bye. Exactly. Junk food junkie. That's it. That's it.

Thank you. Open your ears and close your mouth. Great advice. Have an awesome day. Sign it off.
